The best of both
A hybrid set mixes the two techniques in one lash line: single classic extensions for definition and darkness at the base, and handmade volume fans for fullness in between. Roughly half and half, adjusted to your own lashes.
What you get is texture. Classic sets can look flat if your natural lashes are uneven; volume sets can look solid if you wanted something softer. A hybrid sits between them, with enough variation that it reads as real lashes having a very good day.
It is also the most forgiving set to start with. If you have never worn extensions and are not sure how dramatic you want to go, a hybrid tells you a great deal — and nothing about it is hard to live with.
Wispy, uniform, short
Wispy Hybrid Set — J$11,500. Laid in a wispy pattern of peaks and dips so the set has movement. The most-requested hybrid, and the one that lifts a hooded eye. With bottom lashes, J$14,000.
Uniform Hybrid Set — J$10,000. The same mix laid to one even length for a smooth, polished lash line. Fuller than a classic set, softer than a volume one. With bottom lashes, J$12,500.
Refills are J$7,500 for uniform and J$8,500 for wispy within two to three weeks.
First time? Book the Uniform Hybrid Set. It is the easiest thing to wear, the easiest to maintain, and it leaves you plenty of room to go fuller at your next appointment.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between hybrid and volume lashes?
A volume set is made entirely of handmade fans. A hybrid set mixes those fans with single classic extensions, roughly half and half. Volume is denser and darker; hybrid is lighter, more textured and reads as more natural.
Are hybrid lashes good for beginners?
They are the set most often recommended for a first appointment. A hybrid is full enough to be obviously different from your own lashes but soft enough that nothing about it feels like a commitment. The Uniform Hybrid Set at J$10,000 is the gentlest starting point.
How long do hybrid lashes last?
Two to three weeks before they want a refill, the same as any set — it is your own lash shedding cycle that decides, not the style. Hybrid refills are J$7,500 to J$8,500.
Can I go from hybrid to volume later?
Yes. Plenty of clients start hybrid and move to volume once they know they like wearing extensions. Nothing needs to come off in between — the change can be made at your next full set.
